We spent 2 nights in this beautiful park. Our motor home is the one on the very left side of the picture. The cactus was in bloom as well a other wild flowers, wild turkeys walked casually through the campground. One the the highlights at the park is a musical drama called TEXAS and it was about the history of the panhandle and the canyon. The backdrop of the stage is the high canyon wall several hundred feet back, there was room behind the stage for real horses, buggies, trains, etc. to maneuver. Realist storms were created and thunderous lightning bolts came down the canyon walls and struck trees, prairie fires were also realistic. By all means don't miss TEXAS if you are in the area.
My wife Nita travels with me. The purpose of this blog is to keep a record of our travels in our motorhome, add pictures we think are interesting, and allow our family and friends that may be interested to follow us on our adventures.
